K-4 students celebrated the Indigenous Peoples in French through acting activities. During the process, they collaborated with one-another showing great support and giving their very best. Everyone had the opportunity to contribute to their class performance by, either being part of the whole group, a small group, or by performing special individual parts. Students were able to put into practice high-frequency vocabulary and expressions they have been learning in French, so far. The whole process was a reinforcement of what we have previously explored about the Indigenous Peoples: how they connect to the French language and how they have become a great facet of the Canadian culture. The students enjoyed very much performing these special skits connected to the indigenous and so did I. Hopefully, you will enjoy them, too. Merci !
